Cannot lie - I was one of the many folks who was upset with Fletcher when this LP was originally released. But then I began to think about it & I realized that I was being a hypocrite cause THIS is exactly what I felt the first time I kissed a girl... How can I be angry at her for following HER heart when my story is almost the same ?

It’s weird how an artist you used to feel so connected to can suddenly feel… distant. Not because the music changed — maybe it did, maybe it didn’t — but because the way it all unfolded this time, the rollout, the energy… it kind of flattened everything. The intimacy, the edge, the chaos — now it all just feels curated. Wrapped up in something too polished to really hold onto. Still rooting for her, but I miss when it felt like she was speaking just to us.
