Lesbians always get shafted when it comes to media. As soon as wlw characters get together, one of them dies, the show gets cancelled, or the secondary “straight” couple gets the spotlight. There are very few exceptions.

I really struggle to like jinx/ekko because of how much not only the fandom but also the creators push aside Caitvi just for them. I can understand viktor/Jayce slightly more because of how important their storyline was, but I really don’t know how characters that had like 1 episode dedicated to their relationship (that wasn’t even between them) have become more mainstream than the main relationship of the show

i dont get why theyd put such an emphasis on making a show with a queer couple at the center if they arent gonna promote it and not even just caitvi but also vi as an individual she is the lead protagonist it doesnt sit right with me that she gets not even a fraction of the amount of promotion and merch as jinx does

caitvi and jinx got a TONNNN of merch when the s2 was first airing and jayvik and ekko had barely anything btw, god forbid they get some more merch for once (and if you can't pay $150 dollars for it you are back to not getting anything)

And they didn't just ignore Caitlyn and Vi, they literally ignored every woman in the show too. Jinx is only there as Powder because of her ship with Ekko. Saying I'm disappointed is an understatement.

i just don’t get why would you spend two seasons developing your main couple and only endgame one at that to then never speak about them again. caitvi is very popular and so are vi and caitlyn as individual characters as well but the lack of merch is just terrible. vi is supposed to be your other main character and yet we barely get anything. with caitlyn is even worse, she gets next to nothing.

thank you for not dunking on any other ships while expressing your frustration. As a multishipper, I always find it so sad when fans do this and blame another part of the fandom, as if it's their fault and not the company's. As THE canon ship, caitvi ABSOLUTELY should've gotten something in the collector's edition, if not been the feature of it entirely.

Vi was basically their main character throughout all of season 1 and everyone loved her AND cait and not only did they kind of sideline her in s2 but they don’t giver her anything extra like music videos or merch

Also the Timebomb Steelbook is the 4k. The art cards being Timebomb and male friends Jayce and Viktor, none of CaitVi the Main couple, just like the artbook. It's not a coincidence.

Nah Caitvi isn't the most profitable product, but Jinx is. Riot is primarily looking at players because Arcane is based on a game played largely by boys. And believe me, men prefer Jinx over lesbian stories (not all of them, of course, but most). So Riot knows that most things will sell when they're about Jinx and Ekko - players simply prefer that ship, not to mention that, like Jinx, Ekko is one of the most popular champions to play. Caitvi is really great, but they're mostly aimed at fans of the series, not the game. Caitvi has similar popularity, but few people I played with used Vi. Obviously In my opinion, the show is about sisters, so it should be about Vi and Jinx with the addition of Caitvi and Timebomb (but only mu because nobody cares about Powder and Ekko, we want Jinx and Ekko). There is no point in belittling Timebomb fans because honestly, we got practically nothing in the series, so we want more of them outside the series and demand a spin-off which doesn't change the fact that Caitvi also deserves attention bcz This is the most loved ship from the series and deserves more
