@dothingsdifferently: I was cutting trees down six days a week for my dad’s tree removal company, but I knew I could be out in the world creating. I knew my camera could be my way out, but I didn’t believe in myself. It wasn’t until I hurt my hand on the job and had to go to the hospital that everything changed. I had no idea where my life was headed if I permanently injured my hand. Tree removal was my only source of income. For two days, I had no clue what to do. On the third night, I stumbled upon a truck meet, and I decided to go home and grab my camera gear. I made $200 in two hours. That’s when I knew it was time to switch to sports mode and go all in. I had to break to grow.
