he sounds like my grandpa 😭🤣 when my grandma died I legitimately think the cemetery thought he had lost his mind but he was sharp & smart & aware until the day he died in 2019, he was just a stubborn pain in the butt 🤣 My grandma didn't want a funeral, wanted to be cremated & that's that, "no fuss". months after she passed my aunt convinced him to not only have a funeral bc her WORK FRIENDS were asking if they could attend to pay their respects & she was embarrassed, somehow grandpa is convinced to buy TWO grave plots to put the...whatever it's called that the ashes are housed in, it kinda looks like a fancy headstone but the ashes are put in urns inside it & a marble bench for people to have somewhere to sit while visiting now it was time to pick the plot. ahhhhh. He asked 8 million questions - would finalize the plot he wanted, have them flag it off so he could see, then he'd go back a week later with all of us & ask the cemetery people things like "I think this is too close to that tree. what happens if that tree is STRUCK BY LIGHTNING & FALLS on the bench & Marble urn house thing, do we have to pay to repair that or do you cover it" --sir that tree is 150 years old it's not going anywhere. "I don't want birds pooping on her, does the cemetery upkeep this" & my personal favorite "What happens if you go out of BUSINESS or decide to sell the cemetery to some real estate developers, do we get to take the bench and urn" 😂😂😂 he changed the plot location a dozen times before finally settling on it. 5 years later they did indeed sell a portion of unused cemetery land & built houses
