I feel this deeply. I’m going through it every single day at the moment. People keep questioning why I reverted, asking if I’m crazy or mentally unwell. It’s painful and exhausting. But wallahi, every bit of negativity, every test, only brings me closer to Allah. Alhamdulillah for the guidance He gave me. Islam has brought me a peace and strength I never had before. Each hardship is a reminder of why I chose this path. Insha’Allah I’ll keep going no matter what they say. Masha’Allah to every revert holding on through the storm. May Allah make it easier for us all and keep our hearts firm. Ameen.

Go to mosque and make some Muslim friends and Enjoy Eid with them. And don’t care about other ppl opinions only care what Allah thinks about you.

yeah ,your feelings are genuinely true and I met some of reverted who talk about same thing when asked them. one of my friend become Muslim 2 year ago. she went turkey and find a nice husband there Alhumdu lillah. she so much devoted to Islam but still cannot find much Muslim friends here because here are not much Muslim in community

All my life I’ve faced difficulties fitting in or feeling like I don’t fit in in places, even though there isn’t much difference between me and my other peers and any of these places, yet it’s a rooted feeling. When I went to Umrah, I was freed from all those fears, suddenly I find myself careless about what other people think and don’t feel an ounce of insecurity about fitting in, no make up, no fancy things, all I had to do is sit or stand in a line with bunch of other women who couldn’t care less about what I look like or where I came from, in fact they would try to start conversations with me (even if we spoke different languages). That form of acceptance I feel like I could only encounter in mosques where everyone has a pure heart, and all there for one reason. I felt like I need to share that to try to lessen that burden of “fitting in” on you.

This is so random but we used to follow each on Twitter years ago! Allahuma barik I’m so happy to hear that you’re a Muslimah now 💕 you always had a pure heart, and you’re exactly where u need to be 🥹 no Muslim is perfect, we all struggle, but Allah SWT is merciful and we repent and ask for guidance. The beauty of Islam is that you don’t have to be perfect, Allah SWT doesn’t ask that of you. But He asks that you repent, He is the most merciful, the most kind. My DMs r always open if u want to catch up 🥹 but Insha’Allah things get easier for you 💕

In a mosque no one will judge you if you make any mistake, they will always encourage you and lead you to the right path, feel free to ask and you will be surprised by how many people are willing to help and support you. May Allah help you with all your battles so you become a better muslim for his sake.❤️

Can relate 100% girl but you know you made the right decision, even tho comes with struggles sometimes. Inchallah you will also find a great man who fears allah and Who will take you Seriously. I found someone like that and he really made my life change so much, I feel like I have my own Muslim family, my own place where I can finally be myself 🩷
