We have a net for runaway cats. I’m the vet and my techs said I looked like I was trying to catch butterflies in a field when I was trying to catch an extra spicy purrito 😂

I remember I once got in trouble by management for a dog escaping. The dog was in an exam room with his owner I was going into the room to take history. I opened the door to go in and before I can crank the door the little Yorkie ran past me I got it and brought it back. The owner laughed and said she does that. Like mam use a leash she had 2 dogs off leash who are escape artist I didn’t know who was behind that door I always open it slowly to I was mad management was mad at me like like as if I let the dog out I caught the dog pretty quickly no help.

I had a very aggressive little dog escape from the treatment area. All the staff was running behind with towels and leads yelling “loose dog, don’t touch!” Circled her in the parking lot like she was a velociraptor until the owners came out laughing and got her back on the leash for us.

my old hospital had floating ceiling tiles.. let me tell you, that cat scaled a smooth wall and disappeared in the ceiling.. after we caught it (in a trap 2 days later), hospital closed for renovation

I was on the floor doing a TPR cageside for a hospitalized dog and all of a sudden I see the black cat that was being triaged fly past me and my coworkers chasing him. Apparently he made it to the back offices and nearly lept from a shelf and onto the ceiling tiles.
