Yep. They are content with the way things are. So they hate on those who bring up actual legit issues within the world and our country. Unfortunately I don't see anything changing. Ppl would rather cope then make real change.

Some good points but doomerism and purism is a problem though. Many of it comes off as arrogant, condescending, and pessimistic. It comes off as trying to be right rather than trying to win over people and organize.

We need to start weaponising this same discourse back at the libs. Don't think revolution is a possibility? That's doomerism. Refusal to support a 3rd party candidate? That's purity politics. Attacking a radical for not supporting the democrats? Leftist infighting. etc etc. I was throwing those "accelerationist" accusations back in the faces of blue maga types back when they'd use it against us because Kamala Harris is a climate change, police state, and imperialism accelerationist. There's absolutely no denying that fact (aside from admitting that accelerationism means more than "advancing things", but blue maga would never admit that because that would mean learning things instead of parroting the trending anti-left buzzword to use as a slur.)

neoliberals are using the words purity politics as a way to dismiss real critique of the democratic party like for instance Democrats are just not leftist in reality it has to do with the economic scale that's not purity you're just right wing you can't call that in fighting Democrats and Republicans fighting amongst each other is infighting they are more closely aligned to Republicans they both want capitalism or reformism one wants it done correctly through the fascist system and the other wants to do it regardless of the system technically they are both doing the same thing just in different ways and socialist or communist critiquing each other isn't infighting it's a critique on bad takes to become better at the understanding of reality of material conditions for progressive change within our fight to seek liberation critiquing the system is not doomerism it's just facts about the system and the quicker everyone understands the facts about the system the closer we get to liberation
