benefits of playing for the lions. you win the superbowl. your jersey will be retired as a qb can't win a single playoff game : nonsense Goff on the other hand has won two. just 2 and has been named the king of Detroit. (rightfully so) if Goff wins or even goes his number will be. we are not the Patriots, steelers, 49ers Goff will win us a championship. I promise. Goff isn't as good as stafford but he couldn't do what Goff has. Goff is a true leader with integrity

Retire his number and put stafford in the ring of honor he put his body on the line and had no o line help took us to the playoffs for the first time since the 1990s the only good wr he had was Calvin Johnson also he had no defense

lions should actually he owns alot franchise records as a qb my opinion but ruined his tenure when he won SB as a ram which did alot of die-hard lions fans mad. at the time realistically. it was staffords time to leave. been a fan all my life as a lions fan

We need higher standards for jerseys retirement. You have to be a franchise legend to get that honor. The lack of real success for Stafford in Detroit makes it impossible to give him that honor. I’d retire Goff’s jersey before Stanford’s

At some point teams have to stop retiring numbers. You only have so many numbers to use. I would love to see him comback to be apart of the Lions organization. He does deserve the Ring of Honor. But not a number retirement.
