When we expect too much without recognizing the effort he's already making, it can leave him feeling burnt out, insecure, or like a failure — just because his pace or path to success doesn't look like someone else's we’ve seen online.

that’s kind of a dangerous perspective, “love is a reward.” love isn’t rewarded when one does something grand or kind or anything. love is freely given without any other intention but to love. i’m sick of everyone saying you have to be something, fit on these standards, in order to be loved. can you even call that “transaction” love? though in maintaining relationships, both people’s stability is indeed crucial because of the fact that love wouldn’t be enough. relationship takes work, yes, but that’s a different conversation. love shouldn’t be reduced to a relationship, love is much more grand. love is love, without needing anything else.

“No women loves you unconditionally”. But i was the one who love him when the time he has nothing. I was there when he was just a broke uni student. I was there when he dont even has money to buy magi to eat. All I asked only loyalty and honesty but even that bare minimum things he couldn’t give it back in returns.
