I bought this recently and cleaned out my dryer and it was…. NASTY. It was so clumped in there … pretty sure it hasn’t been cleaned since the house was built 20 years ago 😂 jk I’m pretty sure the last people had to get a new dryer at some point but I don’t think they ever cleaned it either and we’ve been living here close to 3 years now… y’all legit buy this and clean your dryer out! It’s CRAZY!

I bought this and was so bummed it didn’t fit in my lint compartment. I’m one manic episode away from unscrewing all those screws to fully clean the lint trap, empty the filters on the bottom I also see on tik tok, and clean the outside vent too

So hear me out. Shop vac! I have a similar one and I attach it to my shop vac and use it to clean my car out too! Gets in the areas you normally can’t get!

hello ppl in the comments!! the vent goes from the dryer to somewhere on the outside of your house.. it’ll usually be on the side of the house but sometimes it will be on the roof. pls hire a professional to clean the vent 🖤 but you should also clean out your lint trap after every use!! (family business is in appliance repair)

we recommend once a month (we do the first of every month to help keep track) to clean your garbage disposal, your sinks, dishwashers, washing machine & dryer vents…also don’t forget about the dryer vent on the outside of your home 🧡 hopefully this helps keep your appliances clean, odor free & lasting longer!

We moved the dryer out and used a leaf blower to blow the dryer exhause outside and it had so much lint.

hiii so you are correct about the importance of clearing out the lint but this method is not going to be very effective 😭 the heating element is usually set back some and you really need to take the back panel off to vacuum it properly. also, I think most fires happen due to clogging in the exhaust vent (the space tube lookin thing that comes out the back), which this method won't reach. its definitely good to do this for quick routine maintenance but please make sure you're doing the whole shebang periodically as well! ❤️
