My niece was denied. She was a straight A student for her entire life. A cheer/Dance captain. Literally the perfect kid until a bad ATV accident left her in a coma for dead. Was not supposed to survive but by the grace of God did. Miraculously she recovered and continued straight A ‘s. The accident left her with a slight disability where she can’t process info as fast when under a time restraint but still a cheer captain and straight A’s. She gets a special consideration when applying for college under a disability act. She applied and was not accepted. Tomorrow, Sunday the 20th of July ESPN will air a special they made on her life pre accident to currently college acceptance. I’m sure ESPN will mention how UF turned her down. As a Gator family, we were all very upset.

It’s crazy I had 35 ACT , 4.6 GPA and 12 APS with 4 and 5. BC Calc and Physics etc. got rejected outright ! DEI policies still in play . I think we need to see more transparency

if it makes yall feel better i got admitted this year with a 29 ACT as a microbio major with full ride, the scores don’t matter as much as extracurriculars

My daughter was accepted with early action. Early college graduate and her class of 2025 High School salutatorian. ACT 31, GPA 4.776. 100% Bright Features. Over 200 volunteer hours at the YMCA and our local zoo. Plans on majoring in Criminology. She got a full ride scholarship.
