Have you ever tried bio feed back. You take your meds and lay down in a dark room with the air conditioner down cold and you listen to audio of white noise or something that is calming and soothing. It helps me. I have room darkening shades that I put up to remove the light.

I get migraines really bad as well and one thing I have found is that if I catch quick enough I put peppermint oil on my temples and on the back of neck in the center up to my hairline, it works miracles. It will burn your eyes for a few minutes but it will relieve the pain. I believe in it so much that all my co workers come to me for the peppermint oil when they start to feel one coming on. I use the Now Essentials brand. I also have a headache cap as well.

Aura migraines here since I was kid. The only medicine that has worked for me is maxalt and I take it right were blurry vision starts

Migraines have been the only thing that knock me off my feet & keep me down. Anything else I can suffer through but migraines put me in the bed then the next day isn’t any better, I will feel bad that whole day because my head will still hurt when bending over etc

I do the same exact thing! The visual changes are so scary and the migraine pain is awful!! I have a headache hat, and it is a game changer!! It helps me a lot! I hope it helps you get relief, too!
