Anyone who doesn’t think animals have souls has never had a pet 😫. All human behavior was probably learned from another animal cuz they have all of our behaviors just spread among different species. Animals have much more personality then people give them credit for.

Is it possible that God is warning me that I will die tonight but if I surrender my life to Jesus, he will extend my life. I’ve been feeling like I’m gonna die soon and that I’m on thin ice with God. I had a dream where I was about to go to prison and I gave my life to Jesus. I woke up and asked God for confirmation if that’s what he wanted me to do and later hot water spilled on me. I thought maybe God was using hot water to warn me about hell. I’ve had 2 dreams about hell in the past 2 weeks. The thing is: I don’t believe yet. I’m pursuing God but I don’t think I can commit to giving my entire life to Jesus just yet. Can you ask God on my behalf if this is what he wants me to do by tonight? Is God warning me that my life will end unless I surrendered it to him?

I like the idea that our minds were made in the Father's image, our body's the image of Christ, & our souls the Holy Spirit. Three parts all separate yet make up the human body. As He is three persons, one God.

you're mixing greek and Latin. So sticking with Greek, they have 3 forms of like: the software (pysche), the hardware (bios), and the spirit (zoe), which is kindof overlapping with neuma (like nuematic tools, is really jusy breath... so all animals have this "soul," which is most closely related to the software. They fear, love, feel desire, are creative, etc... but both psyche and bios are of this world. What animals dont have is the spirit. The other gods have just spiritual bodies, but not flesh bodies, (but in prehistoric times, as in, before Noah's flood, they actually made demigods by having children with human women, but that was ended with the flood), and then with kinds like simions, they have the physical bodies, but not the spirit. We are also literally made in God's image, the human form, which God has, in The Angel of The Lord, which is NOT a created angel/god, but the Lord God Creator. That's the person of God who submits to being a human, Jesus of Nazareth. So yeah, all creatures have souls, but only the other gods and humans have spirits, and we are literally made in the image of God. Kindof funny how in Greek culture, after of course a telephone game across generations and new languages, beleived it was Pandora who was made by all the gods (not Adam made by The God of gods, and when she opened the box, she lost Zoe, thus all go to hell. They do have the islands of the blessed, which mirrors the old testament times "Abraham Boosom," where People who put their faith in God's redemption plan were held, until Jesus died (who first went to hell after dying on the cross, to collect them), but they are all spiritually asleep until judgement day). It's gone, and it's what purgatory is loosely based on. So I love that you are digging deeper than most, but maybe open your heart to the peace and understanding the only person of God who is here (The [Holy] Spirit), can give you about how we are made in the highest of quality ways, literally made in the image of God.
