This is why I have serious issue with a President picking their own AG, as well as any Judges or Justices as seats open up, and can fire Federal Prosecutors and other DOJ officials/employees. Those spots should be voted on by the people, and have term limits. And a President shouldn’t have the power to fire any of them. That should be handled from within, and with proper due process. Same for the Military, FBI, CIA, etc etc. The Right has corrupted and abused those powers so much that the DOJ (and courts, military, FBI, etc) are now hyper partisan from the very top.
