I’m not here to defend traeger. I would just say do a true apples to apples comparison. Get the same price point grill/smoker. A cook with them for the same amount of time. Smashing equipment doesn’t prove longevity

My Traeger gets used 5-6 times a month for 7 years, not one single issue. I don’t use my lid like that.
