Before I became friend with my Chinese friend. She asked me “chi le ma?” and I said “Not Yet” I genuinely thought she invited me to eat. My Chinese was super bad back then. 😂😂 So we went to a dinner and shortly after that we’ve become bestie. So that wasn’t bad at all 😂😂😂

I was just learning mandarin and two Chinese ladies at work walked by me. They looked at me and then each other. I then understood 吃. I feel like she asked why is she so fat? And she said chi like three times. 😂😭

I laugh it off usually, but if the commenter is actually rude or mean or if I'm having a bad day, I miiiight choose violence. the violence? I'll recommend a sunscreen or a moisturizer, or [a diet] that has already helped me lose [number of kgs] that the commenter surely would find helpful 😇😊 haven't had to do this too many time though.

If "they are just being Chinese and not mean", does it mean that Chinese have the right to be mean ? My feeling is that it creates a social pressure that is stabilizing and good from of society point of view. This is probably the reason China survived many thousand years. USA is on a very bad path now and it's not even 300 years old. Heath and weight is just one aspect of it.
