I was also the first woman to move out of my Muslim South Asian family and live by herself and I’m almost 10 years in. It’s the best but it does get really, really hard and lonely. Even with all the hardships, my mental health has been at peace for nearly a decade and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. This will be the time you will learn so much about yourself and everything it takes to survive. Your relationship with your family will also get so much better because distance does make the heart grow fonder. You got this Inshallah. ❤️
