10 years I went through trying to co parent and it almost killed me. Had to cut all ties and go no contact to protect my peace.

My ex would tell our two children, if you loved me you would come live with me. It was breaking their hearts, so I told them if they wanted to try it it was ok, it was very short lived! After that he never told them that again. He couldn’t handle it! 🤣

Co-parenting with a narcissist is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do ever in my life. Our kids are 21, 15, and 12. I have six more years of this. Keeping communication to a minimum and “necessity only” basis is the best way to protect my peace. He’s always trying to turn one of our kids against me. It’s never ending.

This is why I won’t get a divorce (also have no money) he has brainwashed my son into thinking I’m lazy, stupid, etc, believes he pays for everything -he would fight for full custody and then say that I broke up the family-my son has even said if we divorce he would live with his dad-sounds stupid but we do have some nice moments (my son -!: I) and I’m not willing to lose that
