So many people talk about clearing out the fridge and stocking up the freezer to reduce food waste but forget how many food items have long dates on them. Cheese, Bacon, Eggs all tend to have good dates, make sure you have plenty of rice, pasta and tins in. Froze Veg and tinned fruit and fresh or long life milk. There is nothing worse than arriving back at home with mounds of dirty laundry and having to head back into work and knowing you also have the food shop to do.
