Phury absolutely has cPTSD. He also struggles with narcissistic parent issues as an eldest sibling. He’s a people pleaser because he has deep - DEEP - rooted abandonment issues. His worth is tied into what he does for others, especially his brother.

I love Phury. He is my favorite brother. His issues are so deep seated in him. He has childhood trauma, the guilt of not being taken, his putting everyone else before himself even if it hurts him. His self hate, his addiction…. It’s a lot. The cancer in me wants to love and nurture him but I also relate in his love and protection for Z even if it wasn’t all that healthy. Love him but his book is a hard one. ❤️

It’s actually my favorite because I understood him from a personal standpoint. A lot of how he is, his heart and wanting to take care of others above himself is an internal struggle and when he needs help and understanding he feels all alone in his own head. A lot of him was me before I had to seek help.
