at MOST, I think student loans should be interest free (but ideally college education should be free. I want the best doctors, teachers, programmers, etc, and cost barriers prevent many from attending or finishing)

The part they’re forgetting is WE PAID THE DAMN LOANS. No one is asking to not pay the loan, we’re asking for the interest to not be outlandishly high. Just wipe out the compounding interest ffs.

I was lucky enough to not need student loans and I want others’ to be forgiven, I don’t have children but I want our schools to be well funded, etc. It’s simple really

The interest rates are criminal. All students loans should have a fixed interest rate of 2-4% period. But yes, student loan forgiveness for lots of people in different industries, income based, etc.

I worked multiple jobs, applied for a billion scholarships, took college classes my HS paid for and went to community college for a year to knock out the easy classes. not a penny in student loans or debt...still fully support help for people who were/are victims of predatory lending. because how i paid for something doesnt change what is right and wrong.
