Just call the office. One of two things will happen. They’ll do a phone appointment and get you either the same meds or higher depending on what your doctor is comfy with. Or you can reschedule, go to the pharmacy that usually holds your perscription and tell them what happened and when your appointment is. Sometimes they will give you enough to get to your appointment. They will want to call and check with your doctor so don’t go when the doctors office is closed.

Once I checked out an adult ADHD self help book from the library and returned it 6 months late after INSISTING to them that I had already returned it. Same vibes. lol

they must be used to this kind of issue happening for ADHD med appointments, there is absolutely no way you are the only one this happens to! Honestly, if you had shown up and on time, that'd be a flag against needing a dose increase 💅 Or at the very least the doctor's office should have an auto-robo call that goes out an hour before this type of appointment reminding them it is happening and happening in person

The government has been making meds for disabled people harder to get on purpose. I made this case on Twitter a while back (with receipts, of course). No refills, shorter fill periods, in-person appointment requirements, shortages, going after providers, privatization, etc. "..they're going to try to do to stimulants what they did to pain meds" -Matthew Cortland, March 31, 2023

it's okay. I was all prepared for my kids in person ADHD appointment even had everything ready to go that morning. started doing laundry completely forgot. they phoned me going ummm where are you and I just shit myself going I'm so sorry fuuuuuuuck

yeah, I can do without the actual phone calls as well. My ✌️unmasking✌️has brought me to the point where I fully act out and use voices- like this chick!😁- to convey how physically uncomfortable one on one ✌️relating✌️has become. 🤣 "that'll be a NEGATORY, good BUDDY!" and, scene!

Your pharmacist *might* be willing to fill a compassionate dose for a few days if you let them know what’s going on. I’ve had good luck with them doing it for my Prozac, but never tried with adhd meds
