That's not entirely accurate, there will be smaller tunnels and a longer diffuser, with flatter elements and fewer fins to guide underfloor airflow, but they'll still experience ground effect. they just want to stop porpoising. The cars are going to be significantly slower, but hopefully more drivable. the active aero could be super interesting too

They should make up their damn mind. Why not give the teams some freedom here? let them choose if they want to use ground effect or not. It’s supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsports, they should use whatever is technically superior, let them fight it out on track. Cost and cfd/windtunnel limits should be the main driving force behind the limits there

uh.... what's the source for this info? The Cars for the 26' season have ground effect tunnels still.. so what are they gonna do just build a new car last minute for changed regulations? hello???? you can literally see the tunnels in the FIA mock up car. what are you talking about bro????
