@alliandemm: If you just lost someone I want to talk to you. I know the hollow feeling and the dissociation from what’s happening. How can this be real? Did I really just go through that? Can they really be gone or did I dream that? Do you feel like you’re just going through the motions every day and filling in the blanks but you yourself are not home? You will smile again, not cause you’re forcing it but because you truly feel joy. Your heart will make room for your grief, it won’t go away but your mind body and soul will adapt and it will live in you alongside your happiness and joy. If you’re feeling stuck in your grief, I want to challenge you to do something outside of your comfort zone. Something that makes you nervous and you think to yourself “I wish I had the guts to do that”. Have the guts and go do it.
