The reason you always see rich people thinking they're middle class is because, unless you're Jeff Bezos's, there's always someone with more wealth than you. They assume their experience is average and their classmate that has a few more stacks of casg then them is "proof".

I agree, but when you grow up in a wealthy area you can 100% be the poorest person in your school and be made to feel lesser because you dont have nice things...in comparison to the people you know. Kids haven't seen a lot of the world yet. With time, hopefully they will gain perspective.

I’ve always said that Hollywood has convinced society that the upper middle class is the true middle class (simply based on the homes that they continuously put “regular” characters in).

My niece and nephew go to a super fancy school, my SIL and BIl are Drs and they’re privileged but at their school they’re the “poor” kids because everyone else who goes there are billionaires. They have no idea! 😂😭

It’s because they went to private school with kids who were way more rich than them. I know so many ppl like this. If you tell them they’re rich, they’ll just name other ppl they know who have way more money

Definitely but I’ve also seen some that are 100% middle, like it’s a dated three bedroom house that could probably go for 400k at most and ppl in the comments think that’s rich.
