the new trex is actually taller than a full grown indom and even spino. not longer but its definitely taller. biggest theropod we have seen in the entire franchise. drex isnt a theropod so Im not counting him. this new trex can stand up and reach drexes neck. theres even a deleted scene where the trex fights and kills drex.

It’s literally the least most aggressive Rex in the franchise, other rexes have immediately use their mouth to attack. But this Rex literally watches the raft for a bit then paws at it. Once it realize the people aren’t apart of the raft then it tries to bite them

the swimming part was actually from the original book but was cut from the first movie so they added it to rebirth. and paleontologists have actually said they think rexes were good swimmers

the other T recess actually can swim as well, though they didnt show it, they wanted too in the original JP movie, because in the JP Novel this river scene is actually from the Novel. they added the scene now, they wanted too in the original movie but never did.

if you look closely the drex's head shape looks like titanosaurus and he has sauropod legs. what it wasnt a failed trex. what if it was their first hybrid attempt by mixing rex and titanosaurus dna in hopes itd make it a massive rex and they didnt know how to design it like dr wu so it became deformed and terrifying.

Maybe the oxygen levels there made the T-Rex more bulky and it's no wonder the dinosaurs were big there because they had complete resources.
