My mom did it. She even kept a sakkie for bags with holes in. She would cut them in strips and knit a mate with it. I have a bag with mixed some are just pushed in and some are folded into samosas.

I keep them too, and I'm cheap... So I use them as bin bags as opposed to buying those fancy white ones with the string. However, I'm yet to meet someone from my generation who does the fold 🤔 parents and Gogo's houses not included

I am Turkish and I have one of those and in my parents house they also one of those and almost everyone I know also has one of those. So apparently it is also a Turkish thing as well. I wanna call out my Balkan friends, I a guessing you might also have them too;)

My mom used to do the triangle thing, but I hated it. It takes so much time to fold them just to unfold them to be used. Now we have a 'better' system. We have a upright standing freezer and they all end up hung on the handle of the door 😁

Good for kitchen waste if you don't own or want to own a kitchen bin. Hang it behind your kitchen door and throw it away once it's full, works well to keep bad smell and flies out of the kitchen

I actually have 2 of these🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 1 normal plastic bags for garbage and when I do my shopping sometimes and 2 bead bags for separating and sorting out my meats and other miscellaneous items
