you can still participate in church without regressing. and you can use religion's tools to live a good life w/o believing in god: community, rites, music, being w/ loved ones. as an atheist i even pray sometimes when in a super stressful situation.

Not to dismiss your emotions. However, is Nigeria this bad? Access to Wifi, electricity and now religion/home(coming from your previous posts). You’re dreading what you haven’t experienced yet? Your accent? That’s your heritage. It doesn’t equate excellence or superiority. I travel to Nigeria often and life isn’t as toxic or hard as portrayed.
