@leadershipmel: imho… this is great advice… Trying to prove yourself is actually working against you. It creates a needy, graspy energy that seeks ongoing validation. It’s not a good look. Plus it makes others question your confidence. True leadership presence comes from believing in your own value—without needing external validation. So when you’re in a situation where you’d normally try and prove yourself… try this instead; 1️⃣ Assume you belong. Show up as if everyone already sees you as a capable leader. Confidence is contagious. 2️⃣ Stay open to growth. The best leaders don’t prove—they improve. Whaaa??? Shift your focus to learning, not impressing. 3️⃣ Lead with results. Results build credibility, so share them. But not for wide-eyed validation. Share them as facts. When you stop trying to prove, you access your ability to lead.
