if you like he who fights with monsters you should check out "Azarinth Healer" or "Beneath the Dragon Eye Moons". BDEM even has a direct reference to HWFWM in like book 12 or 13.

Standard "booktok" tends to get fixated on certain titles (Sanderson included). I've never seen the other two series reccomended so I appreciate some fresh names put out there, we'll definitely check them out.

For me, I can’t recommend the Dune series enough. Genuinely my favorite story that isn’t called One Piece or Berserk, it’s phenomenal

I’ve read both primal Hunter and he who fights his monsters and I’m keeping up with them and I think one of the things that appeals to me the most about the former is that he’s not getting stronger because he has to he’s getting stronger because he wants to purely because he enjoys it.

I've actually seen these at my local library, I'm definitely gonna check these out. I love dense books that I can get lost in so mistborn definitely peeks my interest

im also keeping up on the first 2 series you said but if you enjoy them may I also recommend the Mark of the Fool series? its got a lot of what makes primal hunter great and a little more of a unique story line.

if you like the sounds of he who fights with monsters and the primal hunter. the two week curse is a similar vein but it's two Marines who get Isekai'd off was a damn good series I thought.

I'll definitely be checking out the first 2. Sanderson as a whole is so daunting to get into, he honestly writes too much. The only "reading" I really do are light novels and for those I can't give enough praise to Faraway Paladin and Ascendance of a Bookworm, Tired of the High Elf Life is a decent runner-up
