Masala Keema Shepherd’s pie - 1 lb beef keema (minced meat) - 1tbsp Tomatoes puree - 1 onion chopped - 2tbsp Kebab masala (any brand) - 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste - 1/3 cup sweet peas(frozen) - 1 tbsp yogurt Mashed potato - 2 lb russet potatoes - 1/2 stick butter (4tbsp) - 2 tsp garlic powder - 1tsp black pepper - 1tsp Oregano - 3/4 cup sour cream/heavy cream/milk/water - Grated parmesan cheese (for the top layer) Method: ✨Cooking the Meat: - Sauté onion and ginger-garlic paste in oil, then add tomato paste. - Add keema and kebab masala, cover, and cook until the meat is tender and the oil has separated. - Add yogurt, cook for another minute, then add sweet peas. - Cover and cook for another 5-6 minutes. ✨Mashed Potatoes: - Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into small cubes. - Add to boiling water and cook until soft. - Once the potatoes are fully cooked, drain the water, and return the potatoes to your pot. - Over low heat, add all the ingredients for cooking the potatoes except for the Parmesan cheese. ✨Layer & Bake: - Layer the baking dish with: keema, mashed potatoes, and lastly, cover it with grated Parmesan cheese. - Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, then switch to broil mode and broil for 5-6 minutes or until the top layer is crispy and golden. . . . #sheperdspie #mashedpotatoes #mashedpotato #keema #masala #pie #pierecipe #october #fallrecipes #fall #thanksgiving #thanksgivingdinner #thanksgivingrecipes
