anyone that wants a one-to-one adaptation doesn't understand art, there's no point to an adaptation if it's not justifying itself, just read the book. if you want the book, watch the show if you want a different interpretation of the story. mythology has been doing this for centuries, superheroes adapted this mythology and yet people still can't grasp it
