I have never heard an attorney Tell someone to take a field sobriety test. Yes they will take you to jail and if you are not drunk, you will be released. But if you take a field sobriety test, they can decide that you are too impaired to drive even if you are not.

Blood test by hospital only. People still get arrested after blowing all 0s because the field sobriety tests showed they were “under the influence of something other than alcohol”

Why is it that every other lawyer says never do the field sobriety test because they are meant for you to fail, any little error will go against you and they have so many little things they look at that many dont even know they will be doing wrong

Even if you feel thst you were wrongfully pulled over and are innocent, you are required to follow legal orders. Resisting arrest and failure to comply are both violations and crimes which you can get arrested for, even if you believe you are innocent.

Failed a field test completely sober. If ur doing the test: you’re going to jail. If you hadn’t had a DROP: u blow. If u blow 00s then they want a (drug) blood test. Theres seriously no winning in the situation. If u refuse all, you will be arrested for abt 8 hours (if u get bonded out). But then, u can go back and sue for compensation $. But there rly is no winning for that 8-10 hr period.

This would be good advice if cops didn’t still arrest people who pass field sobriety tests. There was a college football student who blew 0 and the cop changed his accusation that he smoked 🪴 but a cop with more training said he was fine after the arrest was already made

I have 4 brothers and all have OWI. 2 got it blowing 0. Because they smoke not that day but days earlier. So the blood 🩸 test showed smoke in it

if you've been drinking dont take the breathalyzer you'll get taken downtown and they'll have to draw blood to find out your bac but this often takes awhile and your bac will diminish so you have a better chance of beating a drunk driving charge
