ever since I found out that you couldn't enter baths if you have tattoos bc they associate tattoos with yakuza/gang members even though I've dreamed for a hot spring bath in japan my entire life I fear it may fix all my problems

The no trash cans is actually a thing, i covered up most of my tattoos but fashion is definitely well respected wherever you go. Definitely not the place to act out/be loud af, they're all about respect and cleanliness
