@mesabrand: Will has started and trained this horse mighty fine and I am thankful to get to experience this ride! This past weekend was major for Starburst and me both. Until then he hadn’t been hauled or shown since SB Futurity last October by Will. Other than during the time in early 2024 that I kept him legged up while Will recovered from a sprained ankle, Starburst and I haven’t really spent much time together. That is til not long ago we began preparing for our first show together. It felt good to get back in the show pen that in of itself, but considering a few medical roadblocks I’ve had this year and getting stuff figured out with my old foot injury as well, Starburst helped me keep that flame ignited on my absolute love of competing in the arena. He also has experienced some big changes in life as he is now a gelding! Starburst is LOVING his new life and all the perks that come with it! I’ve been blessed to ride some nice horses in and out of the show pen in my lifetime and Starburst definitely is cementing himself high on that list. I chopped out some parts of his runs that I don’t want him judged a second time for because I’m certain those show bobbles do not define him. How thankful am I though to have over 6 minutes of what I feel to be highlights of his two separate runs! He’s at the age and level that it’s time to start “polishing” it all up and laying a show foundation and for that I am excited and know that good and bad shows will be in our future but the ultimate outcome is nothing but a positive horizon. Thank you Lord ❤️🙏✝️ #rbrraiseemuphigh #prcha #nrcha #mesabrand #westtexas #fyp
