No excuse bc she is rich she can afford one on one lessons. Shes an actress she knows how to study and remember. Her Ben Affleck speaks more Spanish. The fact that she doesn’t put the effort is more insulting as a Hispanic American woman. She wants to represent the culture the least she can do is take the time to write & learn her speech in Spanish without having to try and read it from the teleprompter.

your followers negative comments are so terrible ! They hate her just to hate her. So what she doesn’t speak great Spanish! I’m a proud Mexican American speak Spanish but broken at times. I do my best that’s all I can do. The only reason I hold back is because of people that make fun of my pronunciations. Proud Latina here born in 🇺🇸 leave this lady alone and those who at least try! It’s so frustrating

I think she just needs to take a lesson from Selena and be humble and not pretend she’s fluent. Like most of us raised in the US - our Spanish is good but not native. Just ingratiate yourself share you’re doing your best and people will appreciate the effort.

This is a good point. My parents are bilingual but never taught me Spanish. I have tried so hard to learn it as an adult and I just can’t get it. It makes it harder knowing if I do try, people are going to judge me for it. 😢

The problem is not her saying wrong words, the problem is her not making sense. You can know a few words in a different language but that doesn’t mean they will make sense when you put them together. Knowing a different language is not knowing a few words, it’s making sense in a different language when speaking it
