@trevorzierke_dc: Things I wish I knew in my early 20s (training / fitness edition). I wish I figured these out when I was 21 not 28 lol. I spent the bulk of my early training days just focusing on hypertrophy & bodybuilding style of training (and the occasional all strength blocks) and while it was fun for a while, it would have been way more beneficial to start working on other aspects of fitness. “Hybrid athlete” bros have gotten obnoxious but don’t let that take away from the premise still being fundamentally correct IMO. I wish I did more cardio & athletic style training earlier. I wish I but a emphasis on mobility & my flexibility sooner. Those things made such a difference in how I felt day to day + with what physical activities I actually felt comfortable doing. Well worth the trade off of maybe putting on 5% less muscle year-to-year lol
