Yasir Qadhi didn’t reject hadith or Sunnah. He simply said not every hadith has equal strength — some need more scrutiny, which scholars have always known. He still upholds authentic Sunnah and major hadith collections. Qur’anists are twisting his words to claim hadith can’t be trusted. But the Qur’an itself commands us to follow the Prophet ﷺ (4:80, 33:21, 59:7). You can’t even pray properly without the Sunnah. Rejecting all hadith is not scholarship — it’s deviation. There’s a big difference between academic caution and Qur’anist rejection. Don’t fall for the distortion. The Sunnah is essential to Islam — always has been.
