Like having your own abuse trauma doesn’t mean you’re also allowed to inflict abuse trauma onto others, especially your own children? Yes what you went through was tragic, out of your control & not your fault… HOWEVER , it’ll never be a get out of jail free card. Only YOU are responsible for your own behaviours and actions, no one else. You choose whether your trauma turns you into an abuser or not.
