HBCU's do help black students a lot more than pwi's but unfortunately not many people can afford the cost and choose what they can afford and try to get the most of their college experience.(speaking from someone who goes to a pwi)

I’m kinda torn because PWI generally have better engineering programs and cost is less, but ik at a PWI it would be hard to succeed and I would have less people to help me succeed.
