My group circle is about 20 people (15 have iPhone) 4 of us are switching to android folding phones (heck, may be 5 since my wife seems very interested). To me what did this was IPhone 16, the lack of innovation on it was bad and liquid glass was the nail in the coffin.

I mean apple has been top 5 but they could be #1 if the continued to actually innovate like they did with jobs. theyre losing marketshare worldwide every year, and Americans are slowly switching to samsung which is by far apples largest market.

to be honest i dont foldable phones because it sucks i was using one for 2 years battery bad camera decent and the screen was realy fradgile and i realy hatted the experience and for the price i got the newest phone evalieble which had 2x better camera battery all the stuff

With all the people I meet everyday I have only seen one using a folding phone for last couple of years. 99.99% using iPhones 🤷🏻♂️

Even 2 years ago the Oneplus Open is already smaller and feel way more comfortable to hold in the hand than the average iphone Pro Max. Yes it waas a bit heavier, but it's still smaller, and I'm not that big of a 😼 to care about the 50g of extra weight

I mean I have been wanting a folding phone for a few years now. Only thing keeping me with Apple is face time. Teaching my mom to use a new phone would be a Herculean task😂
