@lizziebbyy: I just got fired from Taco Bell after 3 years, so now I’m exposing everything they never wanted customers to know: Most of the “new” menu items are just the same 5 ingredients rearranged. They’ll fold it a different way and call it the “Cheesy Lava Crunch Supreme Deluxe” or some nonsense. The beef? It comes in a bag. We boil it in hot water like a Capri Sun, cut it open, and stir it till it looks edible. Those nacho cheese dispensers? Never fully cleaned. I once found a dried cheese crust older than me inside one. Still served it. If you customize your order too much, we WILL talk about you in the back. One guy asked for a Power Bowl with no rice, no beans, no lettuce, no meat, no sour cream, just guac. We called it “The Air Bowl.” We were trained to never say “no.” Even if we ran out of Baja Blast, we had to say “we’re in the process of restocking.” Meanwhile the syrup machine hadn’t worked in 2 weeks. They keep it lowkey so it doesn’t get flooded, but it’s legit. my friends and I abused the hell out of this 😂 And the cherry on top… my manager reported me to corporate after I forgot to update my work visa in time. HR escalated it and now ICE is involved. I’m literally being deported next week over a missed expiration date. So yeah. Taco Bell can choke.
