Wow! I needed to hear this. I spent almost 20 years in active addiction. One day, June 13th 2024, I decided it was enough. I made the change. It’s a struggle every day cleaning up the mess I made. Some days I’m just frozen in fear and isolate but I push myself and I’m doing it. It really is one day at a time, one hour, one minute! We do recover 🙏❤️

I saw a video like this a few months ago and it stuck with me so much that I wrote a whole paragraph in my own note about how I’m not sorry. Def helped with self love but it just shifted into me hating the world around me so much that I despised living even more

I tried 5/5/25 my daughter had to preform compressions, I feel awful for that part. The feeling is still strong, I know I wil attempt again and im in treatment but I can't fight it

No letters they drank and did it a year apart 🥺 both my best friends just gone 🥺 but there was absolutely nothing I could have done to change anything. I quit drinking so I never do anything
