unfortunately she got out. you should have been more conscience since it was her end of life. she might have left with strangers but wasn't alone & it was humane vs any suffering.

You’re waiting to speak to a supervisor, they literally tricked you into staying there. So deceiving. You are grieving! All of this could have been a conversation with you. Hey Luca was brought in and it looked like Luca had been neglected, you can say yes Luca is elderly here is Lucas records we just saw a vet. Luca wandered for the first time ever as sometimes elder dogs do. Then a conversation that included a sincere and genuine apology to say I am so sorry we assumed wrong we thought Luca was ill and neglected. We should have looked into it before just decided to euthanize Luca. They were all so wrong and I am so sorry you and your family had to go through this. Knowing Luca was not given the chance to cross over without their loved ones surrounding them is so sad.

My heart just breaks for you and your family. I just put down my very elderly dog a few weeks and it was devastating, but the right decision. I can’t imagine someone taking that choice away from me, or accusing me of abusing my dog. I hope you get the resolution your and your family deserve. ❤️❤️❤️

So the vets get a stray dog that was so bad off it had to be put down ? Basically a dying dog that did not have long to live was put down ? The vets had no idea who the owner was ?
