youre right for the wrong reason. if an ai was created that could be fully conscious with unique subjective experiences and the ability to create, it would be capable of creating art. being organic isn't required. but no matter how advanced ai gets, it wont get to that point; not because its impossible without organic brains, but because the "ai" we have isnt designed to be ai. its pattern recognition. it can get better and better at emulating patterns, but no amount of getting better at mimicry will make what its doing not mimicry.
