I get the gen z stare from hostesses when I walk into their restaurant. Literally just stare at me without saying anything until I ask if we can have a table? We are a part of 2? Please? 💀 DO YOU WORK HERE OR JUST DISSOCIATE AT THE HOSTESS STAND?

that's the customer service stare that's been around for generations. we're talking about when some of gen z just give deer in the headlights look when they are asked basic questions (like "what would you like to order?" not when someone asks a stupid question like "can I have a hot iced coffee?" kinda thing)
