 No sunscreen. No sunglasses. No “indoors.”
 Just direct connection to the environment we were built for. Now? We’re told to avoid the sun… and then wonder why we feel flat, anxious, inflamed, and exhausted. But here’s what sunlight actually does: * Regulates circadian rhythm (crucial for sleep, hormones, and mood) * Triggers vitamin D synthesis (key for immune function, bone health, testosterone) * Activates POMC – a precursor to feel-good hormones like dopamine and beta-endorphins * Boosts mitochondrial energy production (especially infrared and UVA wavelengths) * Builds melanin naturally – your body’s own sun protection * Improves nitric oxide and blood pressure (via UVA exposure) We’re not meant to live disconnected from the light that built us. If you’re new to sun exposure: * Start with 5–10 mins of early morning light (no sunglasses, no window glass) * Gradually build your exposure, don’t burn (prioritise clothing & shade over rubbing toxins into your skin that you will absorb) * Prioritise eyes and skin exposure in the first hour after waking * Stack it with grounding or movement for even more benefits Your hormones, sleep, energy, and mood are all downstream of light.
