"It's under 90 Days, you can't possibly be truly in love." What a robotic government.

What if we got married 2 years ago in the US. I was on an ESTA at the time but we’ve lived in the UK since. We want to move to the US and apply for my green card - can I come in on an ESTA and adjust? Or is this risky.

If someone has a conditional green card expiring in January 2026 and no criminal record, what are the chances of encountering issues when re-entering the USA after a one-month trip abroad? Thanks for advance.

I assume this is only if the foreign national plans to stay in the US after the marriage. My husband was a foreign national, traveled on the visa waiver program to attend our wedding the states then left 2 weeks later. He applied and received a green card 4 years later after we lived in the UK together.

What if you both (American and Turkish) are going to USA to visit (he has visitor visa) and get married, then go back to Turkiye? Is it better to get married here or USA? I’m currently stationed in Turkiye.

But it's better to just go the marriage visa route or the fiance visa route. that'll probably save you time and money.

this makes no sense - because 90 days is the maximum stay. would you not be overstaying and that be grounds for deportation?
