You're exactly correct. I bought a new bed on Amazon. Now every other video is a TikTok shop for a bed. I never did any bed shopping on TikTok. It's just another one now rather than being good and entertaining.

The ads are horribly out of control , especially on YouTube lately. The fyp is broken ever since they “saved” it. Now they’re going to make us download a new app with the same format just to ban this one next year.

blocking tags help a lot, I blocked the tiktok shop tag and it reduced the amount of ads I'm seeing considerably
