Replying to @Sangi❣️❣️ I get this question all the time! 🤔 It can get confusing because sometimes azelaic acid is sold as a gel, other times as a moisturiser or lotion- So, does it count as your gel moisturiser or lotion? The answer: Still use a moisturiser over it. It’s always a good idea to use a dedicated moisturiser in the PM. ✨When Finecea (or other active products) say that they’re gels or lotions, they’re referring to their texture, and even though they might have hydrating ingredients, it probably won’t be enough for your skin. ‼️Plus! You’re using a pea sized amount of most actives, much is too little to moisturise your face- if you use more, not only is it expensive $$$, it’ll also really sensitise your skin as they’re not designed to be used that way :) These are the steps I took in a recent PM routine: 🫶🏻Cleanse for 60 seconds (currently using @QV Skincare gentle cleanser) 🫶🏻Apply azelaic acid (I use the Finecea 15%, the AzClear @azclearaction Azelaic Acid lotion is 20% and very popular!) 🫶🏻Use your serum (if you have one! Not an essential step but I love the Biobod Soothing Serum @biobod ) 🫶🏻Moisturiser (I’m using the Thirsty Turtl Overnight Barrier Cream) 🫶🏻Spot treatment if you need it (I’m using @Kiehl’s ANZ Truly Targeted Blemish Control Patch) 🫶🏻I also use SVR @SVR Australia ated Eyelids Cream for extra TLC because my eyes are super sensitive in winter- you can get this from @French Beauty Co 🤍🤍🤍So summed up: Azelaic acid goes on before your moisturiser, and after your cleanser.
